Founding Guidance....
Key guiding principals developed by the Founding Board to organize and govern the Association including…
1. SCOWA should be primarily installer-led. The Association should benefit installers mostly, so the responsibilities for leadership should fall mostly to the installers.
2. SCOWA should be the go-to source for meaningful installer training and education in SC.
3. SCOWA membership should be industry-wide and include both private and public sectors members.
4. Overall organized growth in the SCOWA membership should be encouraged at the regional level by regional meetings, training workshops, networking, and relationship building.
5. SCOWA memberships should include a commitment to a suitable Code of Ethics that sets a standard for personal integrity, honestly, responsibility and professionalism.
6. SCOWA should provide and maintain a formal liaison with DHEC/DES for optimism communication within the onsite wastewater industry.
