The Association kicks off 2026 with our annual two-day State Conference in February, bringing together professionals from across South Carolina for education, networking, and industry updates. In 2025, we also hosted quarterly Regional Meetings across the state, each featuring an open Board Meeting and opportunities for CEU credits. Beginning in 2026, we’re shifting to hands-on Field Days designed to provide interactive learning and real-world training experiences for onsite wastewater professionals. Join SCOWA for the 2026 Upstate/Midlands Field Day, a full day of practical education, real-world problem solving and hands-on training for South Carolina's onsite wastewater industry. Whether you're a newer installer building your foundation or an experienced professional looking for advanced technical training, the Field Day offers education designed for multiple levels of experience.

FIELD DAY TRAINING
Morning Sessions
Participants can choose from three training tracks:
Track A – Foundations
Designed for newer installers and those looking to strengthen installation fundamentals.
Track B – Advanced
Advanced technical topics, diagnostics, soils and field problem-solving.
Track C – Advanced & Specialized Applications
Specialized systems, applications and regional soil conditions.
Morning topics include permit verification, installation standards, inspection readiness, repair diagnostics, soils, ATU systems, T&J panels, drip and deep-toe systems, and more.
Afternoon Field Training
The afternoon moves into three sessions giving participants practical training in:
- Prinsco Alternative Trench Products
- Effluent Pump Systems
- AdvanTex Treatment & Drip Systems
LUNCH & VENDOR HOUR
Lunch is on your own. Daddy's Cookout will be onsite with food available for purchase.
Attendees will also have a dedicated hour between 12:20 - 1:20 PM to eat, visit exhibiting vendors, see products and equipment, and connect with industry partners.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Outdoor Event: This Field Day will take place outdoors. Please dress appropriately for field conditions. Boots or closed-toe shoes and long pants are recommended.
Bring a Chair: Participants will rotate throughout the event. There will be seating available in different sessions.
Waiver Required: All participants will be required to sign a waiver.
CEUs: Participants may earn up to 7 CEU hours. Attendance and participation requirements apply.
Rain Date: In the event of inclement weather, the rain date is Tuesday, November 17, 2026.
